I am trying really hard to support our new President because I want him to succeed. If he does not, then neither do we. However, I can respectfully disagree with him. That is what I want to discuss with you today.
I do not believe that most of Americans agree with the practice of earmarks, and yet Congress and our new President seem to think this is the way to get our economy back on track. I just don’t get it. I do not want to criticize them because their jobs are not my stewardship, however, I do think we need to question their motives. Don’t you?

How important is it to allow government intervention when the economy has problems? That is the question I am posing today for your consideration.

First, here’s what it is about please take a look:
Read all of this carefully. This is hidden in the stimulus (spending) bill to get a jump of socialized health care. Under the Democrats if you’re old it is not cost effective to give you the best treatment.
The Obama stimulus plan contains a frightening provision regarding our health care. Take action now to prevent Washington from making our health care decisions for us.

What do you think about this new stimulus package that Congress just passed? I see it as a spend, spend, spend policy on all sorts of programs that don’t have anything to do with the situation at hand. I see a lot of pork stuffed put into it. Why does Congress insist on sticking in all that pork that bumps up the cost so high?
When is Americans going to say enough is enough? I heard it said on the news yesterday that people complained about the package until they heard it was Obama’s, and then they were for it. That is the most ridiculous thing I ever heard. Either you are for it or you are not.

People come to this country because they want to become part of the American way of life, and to take advantage of opportunities that are available to them. It is because of these people that America is the melting pot of so many cultures, and part of what makes us a unique nation.
Nevertheless, it seems some people move to the United States and then feel offended by the very phrase that makes America good. The phrase which Americans treasure is “In God We Trust”, another phrase is “One Nation Under God”. It makes us wonder why people move here if they do not want to support the God that most Americans stand behind.

We have a VERY broken system. The way big problems are fixed is to tear it down and start over. But in all logic, that cannot be done without risking far too much. The fear is, and that fear is not unfounded, that choice just might not be an option. Others may do it for us if we don’t figure something out pretty fast.
If we are attacked again and our communications, transportation, and financial institutions are taken out, the house of cards will fall. I know that the minute I said that, you either froze in fear or you thought I was a joke; thinking America is too strong for that to happen.

Being an accountable person today is not something we often see. People want others to take responsibility for them. That’s why this report is so timely.
