I heard a statement tonight on The Fox News Channel that really bothers me. It was said that our military is at war but a nation that is not! Is there something wrong with this picture? Of course there is. The problem is we have a President and a Democratic Party that do not understand what being at war means.

We send troops to war because the previous administration committed us to it, but we want out as soon as we can get out and “save face” is the general belief of those holding the power in office right now. We have a president that won’t even use the word “Islam Extremist” or “War on Terrorism”. In fact, he doesn’t see anything wrong with closing down Gitmo and bringing those “bad guys” OUR ENEMY to our homeland. That is outright stupid in any language and to any nation who is fighting a war in Islam countries. What will it take for the Democrats to wake up?

I’ll tell you what it will take to wake up America’s government. It will be when the dollar crashes and we have chaos in American streets. Then they will know what war on terrorism is, especially when we get hit again; finally they will understand who the enemy is and that we are at war. Of course, they will hit again when we are knocked down because the dollar crashes. By the way, the dollar has fallen another 19% since March 2009.

Oh my goodness, what will happen when they release the detainees from “Gitmo” and put them into American prisons? These people will turn up again, you know they will–they will escape and end up in the general population again–and then we will be fighting them on our own soil. Many of those who attacked us in the past are those who were captured before and released. Do we trust the Obama administration to keep these guys in prison and out of our way? I don’t think so, I’m sorry, because we know he and the Democratic party think they should be given access to our courts and legal representation; as if they are an American. I can’t believe a country could be so stupid as to do this insane act. I’m sure other counties are laughing at our stupidity!

I want to support our President but I am having a very hard time doing that when he just plain doesn’t get it! When it comes to securing our nation against terrorists, he has no clue. He took days to comment about the shooting at Fort Hood and the attempted bombing on the plane this week. All they want to do is blame the Bush administration for everything! Does that sound like a leader to you? We MUST somehow convince Washington that they are really off-base and wrong!

The criminals have more freedom than the American passengers do, and that my friend is JUST PLAIN WRONG!

The problem is that this ailment is causing major problems in society. The Democratic Party, when in power, and the government have trained us to believe that we have to depend on them to fill our needs instead of depending on ourselves and on God. The more we depend on government, the less self-reliant we become.

Now we have a society that has elected a party and President that tells us we cannot get out of the crisis we are in without the government. President Obama actually said in his speech to America about our economy several months ago that the situation is so dire that only government can fix it . . .never mind that government caused the problem in the first place because Congress did not take care of the problems we have now when they began to emerge.

We have a runaway Congress and President who have no problem spending money that we cannot afford, money that did not even exist until they created it out of thin air. They’ve taken $13 Trillion dollars out of the treasury to fund all the programs and bailouts they said we needed to stimulate the economy but most economist will tell you that borrowing never does any good, it just delays the inevitable (bankruptcy). Do you see what this all means to us as American citizens? It means government made the money when there is nothing to back it. It’s virtual money–meaning it’s not real!

As I heard it explained on Glenn Beck a while ago, a healthy economy will be a straight line without much of a dip for deflation or rises for inflation.

When money deflates, the economy’s stability drops down and we have a recession or depression. That means we need inflation to bring back up the stability of the economy. Now the trick is to catch it just before it starts back up, but if the Feds wait a bit too long and they catch it on the other side of the rise in inflation, then we have hyper-inflation. . .where the cost of things goes sky high. The way Glenn Beck explained it, it would be like having a barrel full of money but all you can buy with it is bread. Recently, the President said we will have a “W” swing back in inflation… which means we will dip way down and start back up, and then dip again and go back up. When we will see the dips is unpredictable, but we know we will see it. In that case, government can’t help us.

I suggest you follow the links below and read the reports I’ve done on this situation. If we cannot stop what’s happening, which it appears now that we can’t, then the dollar will CRASH and be worthless. Not only that, but the USA, France, Germany, Japan, England and other countries will crash as well and we will have a global economic crisis. China has been giving the President some stern advice about his spending and I doubt they will bail us out again when the dollar crashes and we go bankrupt as a nation. And then the government will not be able to help a soul…only themselves because they will then be free of debt at your expense!

So how did all this begin? It started with too much debit, people relying on credit and then being unable to repay it. This same situation continued in governments as well. The USA started borrowing from China and other governments that would make you hot under the collar to know we are indebted to them, and so now we have a huge problem with no solution in sight.

Now they are messing with our food and farms, health care, and ability to sale our homes because of unreasonable mandates to retrofit our homes before we can sell our homes. It’s just unbelievable!

All of this started with the narcissistic needs of the American people to take care of themselves withot concern for others. This attitude not only exists in individuals, in families, and in society, but now it is the cause for the downfall of the United States of America and other nations to follow. We will have no peace of mind, peace in society, joy, and happiness if we lose our freedom and be turned upside down in a global financial crisis.

You need to understand what we face RIGHT NOW before you can make a plan to respond appropriately to the crisis. So take the time to understand the situation and then do something to prepare for the resulting crisis. I suggest taking what money you have and buy food, staples, and whatever your family decides is prudent; but do not delay, time is of the essence.

Look, my intention is not to scare you to death but to help you understand what we face so you won’t be taken by surprise. If you had a “fortune teller’s glass ball” and you see what the future holds, you would do what you can to prevent it or to make preparations. Well, the glass ball is telling us what to expect but you have to be looking and paying attention or you won’t see anything.

A License required for your house…no longer just for cars and mobile homes….

Thinking about selling your house – A look at H.R. 2454 (Cap and trade bill) This is unbelievable!

Only the beginning from this administration! Home owners take note & tell your friends and relatives who are home owners!

Beginning 1 year after enactment of the Cap and Trade Act, you won’t be able to sell your home unless you retrofit it to comply with the energy and water efficiency standards of this Act. H.R. 2454, the “Cap & Trade” bill passed by the House of Representatives, if also passed by the Senate, will be the largest tax increase any of us has ever experienced. The Congressional Budget Office (supposedly non-partisan) estimates that in just a few years the average cost to every family of four will be $6,800 per year. No one is excluded. However, once the lower classes feel the pinch in their wallets, you can be sure these voters get a tax refund (even if they pay no taxes at all) to offset this new cost.. Thus, you Mr. and Mrs. Middle Class America will have to pay even more since additional tax dollars will be needed to bail out everyone else.

But wait. This awful bill (that no one in Congress has actually read) has many more surprises in it. Probably the worst one is this: A year from now you won’t be able to sell your house. Yes, you read that right. The caveat is (there always is a caveat) that if you have enough money to make required major upgrades to your home, then you can sell it. But, if not, then forget it. Even pre-fabricated homes (“mobile homes”) are included. In effect, this bill prevents you from selling your home without the permission of the EPA administrator. To get this permission, you will have to have the energy efficiency of your home measured. Then the government will tell you what your new energy efficiency requirement is and you will be forced to make modifications to your home under the retrofit provisions of this Act to comply with the new energy and water efficiency requirements. Then you will have to get your home measured again and get a license (called a “label” in the Act) that must be posted on your property to show what your efficiency rating is; sort of like the Energy Star efficiency rating label on your refrigerator or air conditioner. If you don’t get a high enough rating, you can’t sell. And, the EPA administrator is authorized to raise the standards every year, even above the automatic energy efficiency increases built into the Act. The EPA administrator, appointed by the President, will run the Cap & Trade program (AKA the “American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009″) and is authorized to make any future changes to the regulations and standards he alone determines to be in the government’s best interest. Requirements are set low initially so the bill will pass Congress; then the Administrator can set much tougher new standards every year.

The Act itself contains annual required increases in energy efficiency for private and commercial residences and buildings. However, the EPA administrator can set higher standards at any time. Sect. 202 Building Retrofit Program mandates a national retrofit program to increase the energy efficiency of all existing homes across America.

Beginning 1 year after enactment of the Act, you won’t be able to sell your home unless you retrofit it to comply with the energy and water efficiency standards of this Act. You had better sell soon, because the standards will be raised each year and will be really hard (i.e., ex$pen$ive) to meet in a few years. Oh, goody! The Act allows the government to give you a grant of several thousand dollars to comply with the retrofit program requirements IF you meet certain energy efficiency levels. But, wait, the State can set additional requirements on who qualifies to receive the grants.

You should expect requirements such as “can’t have an income of more than $50K per year”, “home selling price can’t be more than $125K”, or anything else to target the upper middle class (and that’s YOU) and prevent them from qualifying for the grants. Most of us won’t get a dime and will have to pay the entire cost of the retrofit out of our own pockets. More transfer of wealth, more “change you can believe in.” Sect. 204 Building Energy Performance Labeling Program establishes a labeling program that for each individual residence will identify the achieved energy efficiency performance for “at least 90 percent of the residential market within 5 years after the date of the enactment of this Act.”

This means that within 5 years 90% of all residential homes in the U.S. must be measured and labeled. The EPA administrator will get $50M each year to enforce the labeling program. The Secretary of the Department of Energy will get an additional $20M each year to help enforce the labeling program. Some of this money will, of course, be spent on coming up with tougher standards each year..

Oh, the label will be like a license for your car. You will be required to post the label in a conspicuous location in your home and will not be allowed to sell your home without having this label. And, just like your car license, you will probably be required to get a new label every so often – maybe every year.  But, the government estimates the cost of measuring the energy efficiency of your home should only cost about $200 each time. Remember what they said about the auto smog inspections when they first started: that in California it would only cost $15. That was when the program started. Now the cost is about $50 for the inspection and certificate; a 333% increase. Expect the same from the home labeling program. Sect. 304 Greater Energy Efficiency in Building Codes establishes new energy efficiency guidelines for the National Building Code and mandates at 304(d) that 1 year after enactment of this Act, all state and local jurisdictions must adopt the National Building Code energy efficiency provisions or must obtain a certification from the federal government that their state and/or local codes have been brought into full compliance with the National Building Code energy efficiency standards.

Have you seen this report on the National News lately? I think the media has picked up on the interest people have had in the video on YouTube being circulated and so they are forced to report something on it. The story I saw the other day was minimizing the agenda of government, of course, and made it sound like states are in competition to have a prison for GETMO detainees in order to provide more jobs in their area and boost the economy. The media also made sure to point out that prisons in these states are not being used and so they are needing to be used. Also, the report verified that Hardin Montana was being considered but then they backed out or the government decided to look elsewhere.

Now think about this for a minute. Why would there be so many empty prisons around? If California has over-crowded prisons, why don’t they use these so-called empty prisons? Why are many of these empty prisons being updated if they don’t plan on using them; and for what, for who will they will need to imprison, and for what reasons would so many prisons be needed? I heard that they plan on putting illegals in those prisons, but there are too many prisons that they wouldn’t need if they sent them back home or did a better job of policing the borders. No, it’s obvious to me that they plan to fill those prisons with people who rebel against the government.

Just consider the idea that what I’ve been saying is true, please. If I am wrong, then great; I would love to be wrong. If I am right, then what can you do personally to stop these plans or to make sure you or your loved ones are not included in these prisons – or at least understand and prepare your family that you may be in one of those prisons because you object to what the government is doing. Are you prepared to be imprisoned by the government for objecting to marshall law and what they government is doing, or will you follow blindly (in bondage by our government like Israel was by Pharaoh)?

Oh my, it’s really coming people. It’s already in Montana. They say 30 more towns are slated for a takeover. States that are independent, such as Texas, Oregon, and others, will be those that Obama wants to break down, especially since they’ve talked about ceding from the union.

How long will we sit there in denial and think this is all a conspiracy theory?

Congressman John Fleming ( Louisiana physician) has proposed an amendment that would require congressmen and senators to take the same healthcare plan they force on us (under proposed legislation they are curiously exempt).

On Tuesday, the Senate health committee voted 12-11 in favor of a two-page amendment courtesy of Republican Tom Coburn that would require all Members and their staffs to enroll in any new government-run health plan. How do we become part of the solution, in these times, without being part of the problem?

What are we doing to be a problem?  I suspect that whining and complaining about the challenges we face are both part of the problem and an irritant, especially when we have nothing to contribute or to help improve the situation.  What do you think?

Being part of the problem does not help anyone, it just makes things more difficult to handle.  Being overly positive about things will only irritate people around us and make them want to scream, so that isn’t being the solution either.

Writing to our Representatives and telling them how mad we are at them will not make them want to do what we want! Telling them that we appreciate what they do for us and that we will be glad to re-elect them if they start voting the way the majority wants won’t work either.  While they may appreciate the compliment, threatening them will not influence them to do a thing for us.  What we need to do is tell our representatives how we feel about an issue and why we feel the way we do, and then ask them to consider our views when they vote.

I assure you, I had not been that positive when writing to my representatives in the past, but I have changed.  Now I consider the stress of their work and the pressure they are under when voting a specific way.  I never considered their positions before, because I want what I want and they aren’t giving it to me.  Sound familiar?

We can’t changed anything when all we do is complain and offer no answers or suggestions.  Although we may have no idea of how to change things we object to, we can at least tell those in power how we feel and ask them what they can do to resolve our concerns.

Problems don’t go away on their own, they get resolved through negotiations or by default.  Do we want the problems we face to be resolved through default because no one objected or gave suggestions?  I’m one who believes being proactive is more satisfying than letting life happen to us.

For instance, my son was in a Counsel Meeting when he objected to some money being given away to an organization. He mentioned that the money was not theirs to give and that doing so was an abuse of their responsibilities as a counsel member.

After my son finished explaining how he felt about giving away property worth $450,000, he received a standing ovation for his remarks. The Counsel decided to vote against giving away the property to that organization. When the meeting convened, many people came up and thanked him for saying what he did and said they agreed with him.

One person changed the mind of the entire Counsel by opening his mouth and telling them what he thought, along with giving them a good reason for voting against it.  He appropriately used his power of persuasion to influence the right decision in the matter.  If he had not spoken up, the Counsel would have made a mistake and abused their position of responsibility in representing the people of their city.

On the other hand, my son could have been silent or he could have been insulting and demanding about his position and no one would have listened to him.  In fact, they would have probably escorted him from the meeting.  In this way, my son became part of the solution instead of a problem.

Let us all find a better way to communicate our wishes to our representatives and use our power of persuasion to influence a change.  Perhaps they will accept our position, and perhaps they won’t.  All we can do is try. We may never know what affect we have on someone, but for sure, we will have no affect if we keep our mouth shut.

Our representatives need to know that their constituents are paying attention to them and that we will influence their re-election next term.  Then they will pay more heed to meeting the needs of those they know are watching them.

Now, do you see how these same principles can apply to your family and social conflicts?   Do you see how to use these techniques to improve your concerns in all aspects of your life?  Becoming the solution instead of the problem improves life in so many ways.

First of all, America is the home of many Muslims and I believe the President wants them to feel like America is their home. I have no problem with it in that aspect, if they are law-abiding people. I also don’t have a problem with Obama being Muslim. However, I do have a problem with him being Muslim as President for the following reasons:

• I do when he told us all that he is Christian and not Muslim.
• I do have a problem when he is the President of a nation who is truly at war with Muslim nations that have attacked the United States.
• I do have a problem with him being Muslim when we have tons of Muslims in this nation that say their allegiance is to Allah first and to their citizenship as an American second.
• I have a really big problem with him bowing to a Muslim King!! Yes, I have a very big problem with him bowing when he is the leader of this nation. A handshake is appropriate enough and what any king expects from an American leader.
