Is It Jerusalem or Tel Aviv?

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney really did not want to answer the question posed to him by reporter Connie Lawn; two times, he tried to avoid giving an answer.

Connie Lawn of IRN USA Radio News asked Carney whether the Obama administration considers Jerusalem or Tel Aviv the capital of Israel? There should not have been a problem answering that question so why did Carney not want to answer it?

WND reported today that the U.S. is speaking Arabic and English in Jerusalem.  The reason this is ‘troubling’  is because, since 1995, a law adopted by Congress states that the U.S. recognizes Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel, which means they converse in Hebrew and English.

Reporters Connie Lawn and Les Kinsolving, WND’s correspondent at the White House, both find the truth ‘troubling’ because of what it reveals about Obama’s policy in Israel.  It reveals that, even though U.S. policy supports Israel and speaks in Hebrew and English, the Obama Administration chooses to speak Arabic and English because,  obviously, he supports Palestine’s claim on Israel.

What this new positions means is not good for relations between the U.S. and the Middle East.

“The U.S. embassy conducts its business in Tel Aviv in Hebrew and English, but I’ve been told the U.S. consulate in Jerusalem conducts its business in Arabic and English.” Lawn told WND.

The White House included a little asterisk with the transcript of the exchange with Lawn to explain “The status of Jerusalem is an issue that should be resolved in final status negotiations between Israelis and Palestinians.”

WHY DOES THE WHITE HOUSE REFUSE TO NAME ISRAEL’S CAPITAL?

Joseph Farah, founder and editor of WND, applauded Kinsolving’s efforts to extract an answer from the White House.

“WND White House correspondent Les Kinsolving doesn’t get the respect he deserves among his colleagues or in the Obama administration,” Farah said. “But this demonstrates the vital public service he provides by being there – even though he is seldom called upon by people like the clueless Carney.

He added, “Let’s face it. Nobody knows what the administration’s position is on a simple matter of which city the U.S. recognizes as the capital of Israel – including the White House spokesman. But Kinsolving wouldn’t let him dodge this bullet. By his dogged persistence, he demonstrated to the entire world this administration is like a rudderless ship.”

The issue of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital has surfaced periodically as Palestinians often refuse to acknowledge the city’s status.

Most recently, WND reported that the issue arose at the London Olympics.

There, saying that the Games should not be distorted by politics, the chief of an international litigation and policy organization is calling on the British Broadcasting Corp. to make corrections in its website – where Palestine is described as having its “intended capital” in East Jerusalem.

At the same time, the Israeli page notes that there is no “capital” but that its “seat of government” is in Jerusalem.

“Since King David made Jerusalem the capital of Israel, Jerusalem has played a key role in the government, culture, religion and history of the Jewish nation,” said Mat Staver, founder of Liberty Counsel. “Jerusalem is Israel’s capital city. The BBC should list this fact on its Olympics website, like it has done for every other country.

The fact that Jay Carney avoids an answer makes it obvious that the White House is hiding something (such as allegiance to Palestine) and that is troubling.  Since 1995, U.S. policy has supported Israel as our friend and Allie.   However, this administration’s treatment of Israel has many Americans concerned about future relations with them.  In time, without irreparable damages done between nations, our relationship with Israel will hopefully become good again.

New Website To Help You

As you know, we live in dangerous and uncertain times. We have been hearing a lot on the internet and on television about Dooms Day and End of Times. Since 12/21/2012 is supposed to be the last date on the Mayan Calendar, many have interpreted the End of Times being on that day.

We had another prophecy last year on May 21, 2011 as an End of Times also because a huge earthquake was supposed to tear apart the American Continent. But nothing ever happened on that day, so then the Minister who said the earthquake would come but he was off and the new date was supposed to be October 21, 2011. As you know, that day came and went also and there was no End of Times Earthquake.

Now we are hearing that Iran will have a nuclear weapon shortly and target Israel and the U.S., and that Iran will give terrorists dirty weapons to launch an attack on America. So the newest talk is End of Times will be nuclear.

This past week, with the Sun Flares hitting earth, we have been hearing about EMP (Electric Magnetic Pulse) knocking out our modern way of life and send us back to the dark ages.

It appears we have heard lots of things that will cause our Dooms Day and that we need to prepare for every one of them. Look, I don’t know any more than you do that any of these events will occur, but I do know for sure that one day, according to prophecy, the End of Times will come and we will be in a world of hurt.

According to some place in the record Daniel, we will first have ten and a half years of tribulations, broken down into three and a half year cycles, between April and October, and October to April. So whatever you interpret that to mean, it would be wise in any case to do some type of preparations. Therefore, I have taken the concern to task and started a website titled Prep For Dooms day. Will US Really Attack Iran

We can’t attack Iran because they would win. According to this report from NewsMax, Iran has 100 ships to fight against each one of ours. If they get nuclear weapons, there would be no stopping them. How’s that for a reality check?

According to a recent NewsMax.com report (http://www.newsmax.com/Headline/hayden-iran-cia-strike-likely-homegrown-terrorism/2010/07/25/id/365566?s=al&promo_code=A58A-1), Israel and the United States feel that Iran is getting to a point where their going ahead with nuclear weapons needs to be stopped since nothing else stops them./

Michael Hayden, a CIA chief under President George W. Bush, said that during his tenure “a strike was way down the list of options.” But he tells CNN’s State of the Union that such action now “seems inexorable.”

“In my personal thinking,” Hayden said, “I have begun to consider that that may not be the worst of all possible outcomes.”

Hayden said that the likelihood of a U.S. strike on Iran has risen in the face of Tehran’s defiance to halt its contentions nuclear program, saying “We engage. They continue to move forward.”

“We vote for sanctions. They continue to move forward. We try to deter, to dissuade. They continue to move forward,” he added.

The former CIA chief predicted Iran, in defiance of the international community, planned to “get itself to that step right below a nuclear weapon, that permanent breakout stage, so the needle isn’t quite in the red for the international community.”

Hayden said that reaching even that level would be “as destabilizing to the region as actually having a weapon.”

Hayden also called homegrown terrorism “a devil of a problem” and the most serious threat facing American citizens. “In a democracy it’s incredibly difficult,” he said. “Look, we’ve all made our compromises with al-Qaeda and the al-Qaeda kinds of attacks.

“But how do you build a security structure that guards you against American citizens who are beginning to change in their thinking up to a point where they become a threat to the security of other Americans? That’s a devil of a problem.”

Hayden said that the next step the intelligence community would take to combat homegrown terrorists would inevitably begin to infringe on the privacy of Americans, and that was still too steep of a price to pay.”

However, the problem concerning Hayden most, is the Iranian threat.  The United States, the United Nations and the European Union imposed new restrictions on Iran because of their nuclear enrichment activities, but they continue to move forward with their nuclear ambitions. Of course, this increases the West fears that enrichment could lead to a bomb. Iran has made it clear that they want to destroy Israel. Also, we know Iran’s President dislikes America and the West.

NewsMax.com reported that “The fourth round of U.N. sanctions calls for measures against new Iranian banks abroad if a link to the nuclear or missile programs is suspected and for vigilance on transactions with any Iranian bank, including the central bank.

On Saturday, several key Iranian officials estimated that the United States and Israel would not dare attempt a military strike of Iran’s nuclear sites, adding that they were confident that Iranian forces would easily repel such an attempt, the Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported.”

The United States has ships in the Persian Gulf but they would not be effective in thwarting retaliations from Iran. However, the US would not rule out a military strike if it is suspected Iran has a nuclear weapons program. As usual, Iran denies it has an atomic program that is aimed at making weapons. Denial is not believable because the U.S., the United Nations, and Israel all know Iran has plans to have nuclear weapons available soon.

“Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Saturday that Israel and the United States would never strike Iran, saying that “both the U.S. and Zionist regime face internal problems and they know that we make many troubles for them if they attack Iranian territory.”

Yahya Rahim Safav told ISNA, Iran’s news agency, that Iran’s armed forces were “fully prepared and enemies are aware of that, they do not have the power to take a political decision on the issue, because they know they can start the war but are not able to finish it.”

“We need to be fully vigilant of these attacks, the enemy knows that it will regret if launches a land strike against Iran.” Safavi said.

Will President Obama ever have the courage to attack Iran if they get nuclear weapons? That’s a good question. We know he wants to have a peaceful world without nuclear weapons. He opened up our storage of weapons to Russia, told the world every weapon we have and how many, and made sure Russia had all their questions answered.

Obama and Liberal elitists think we will be safer without nuclear weapons and so he/they want to disarm America. He thinks Russia knowing what we have will make us safer so they won’t feel like they have to keep up with us by making more weapons.

The question has been asked, “How safe are we when other countries and the Middle East know what we weapons we have in storage? These countries don’t care about disarmament and they WILL  continue to seek nuclear weapons as we disarm. Oh, great idea Mr. President!  Where is your head? I think it’s in the clouds because it sure isn’t in the real world, where we all live with bad people that want to hurt us badly!

I guess this would be a good time to pray for an awakening to hit the White House before it is too late and we can no longer respond to nuclear threats. If Obama has his way, he will disarm our satellite and our ability to stop a first strike attack. If he has his way, we will have little or nothing left in weapons storage to fight with and defend ourselves.

I said before the elections that Democrats do not believe we are in a “War on Terror” (we can’t even use the word any more). They are wimps when it comes to calling radical Muslims terrorists. I also said “How can  Democrats protect us when they don’t even see that we have a security problem in the U.S.? I still ask these same questions.

I don’t know what the future holds for us, but I do know we can only pray for heaven’s help and prepare for the worst. Israel Attacks Palestine

Is Israel’s attack on Palestine bringing closer the great battle of Armageddon? 

If we understand the scriptures correctly, Armageddon is supposed to start in Jerusalem or the middle east as a campaign or one event that ushers in Christ’s second coming. 

Wikipedia describes Armageddon below:

“Armageddon ( Αρμαγεδων; [armagedôn] also spelled Har-Magedon, or, in some modern English translations; the Mount of Megiddo), is the site of the final battle between God and Satan (whose name means ‘adversary’), also known as the Devil.  Satan will operate through the person known as the Antichrist or the beast, written about in the Book of Revelation in the New Testament. More generally, it can also refer to an apocalyptic catastrophe.

The word Armageddon in Scripture is known only from a single verse in the Greek New Testament, where it is said to be Hebrew, and is thought to represent the Hebrew words Har Megido (הר מגידו), meaning “Mountain of Megiddo”. Megiddo was the location of many decisive battles in ancient times (see Battle of Megiddo).”

If we are on the verge of Christ’s second coming, what does it mean to us personally and as a nation? Of course many people have their own opinion about what this event might mean, and many people are thinking about this possibility right now.

This brings us to thoughts about our own righteousness or our own vulnerability to events that are to take place in the last days. Those who are faithful are told to not fear, for the Lord will be with them. Others, who are not living by the Lord’s commandments may want to reconsider their lives and try to make changes that are more pleasing to God. However, those who call themselves athiests and do not believe in God,  think belief in Armageddon and the second coming of the Lord is nonsense.

Regardless of your personal beliefs, it does cause this country great concern about the events taking place in the middle east right now; particularly in Israel and Palestine. The United States supports Israel and other nations support Palestine. This support can cause unrest around the globe and may even cause World Wars that involve the United States and perhaps your nation. 

That means we not only have concerns about our own righteousness but also have concerns about how another World War will affect every citizen in every nation. And that concern affects our families and their own sense of security and safety. 

This concept is why I want to talk with you about shoring up your families spiritually, mentally, and economically the best you can to protect them the best you can during the days ahead and whatever the events going on in Israel and Palestine might bring.

We need to spend more time with our families and answer their questions and concerns.

We need to let our family members know that they are loved, that we will protect them the best we can, and that they need to have faith in the future.

If we have taught them about the Lord, we can affirm their faith in the Lord and remind them that He will protect them when they are obedient to His commandments.

If we believe that our lives have been out of sync with God and we have neglected to teach our families about prayer and faith, now would be a good time to remedy that situation.

On the other hand, if you believe all this is nonsense, that’s fine. However, it would still be wise to help your family members have faith and trust in the future.

Let us take the time to consider our lives and the choices we make each day, that we will learn from our mistakes and try to improve the quality of life that gives value to our existance is my prayer for you. I ask this in the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ, amen.
